christmas!!! it's christmas
It didn't really feel a whole lot like Christmas this year. I even tried to be festive but vibes were just off. Maybe it's just because it's too warm out and there's no snow (we never get snow anyway) or the lack of festive activities I did or just because Christmas is less exciting when you're not a kid, but it didn't feel like the holidays until, like, Christmas eve. And even then it was dubious. Is this just what christmas is like as an adult?
I did try to make my site very christmas themed. I'm going to turn it all back to normal after new year's but I'll keep this page christmas-themed because it fits. I'm also trying to use as many of my unused Christmas graphics as I can on this post because I know this is my last chance to use them until next year.
A lot of them happen to be nukos. I love him dearly but there just wasn't a good place to put all of them.
My favorite christmas food this year was salad. i love salad. there was also lasagna (we didn't have very traditional christmas food) but nothing will ever beat the salad.
I made some paintings to give to people this year as gifts, I don't like showing people my art but I think these came out okay so you guys can see them.
The gifts I got from my family were some warm fuzzy socks, a blanket and some money. I think it's funny that as a kid I would've been disappointed to get socks for christmas, but now I'm very happy about them. I am wrapped in my blanket with my fuzzy socks writing my neocities post and i am very cozy.
I also did a secret santa with my friends. I gave someone a bunch of cds and I got a little magnifying glass for looking at small bugs. All in all awesome christmas loot this year.
I also made gingerbread cookies!! I was going to make a gingerbread house too but I ended up not doing that.
Relating to the gingerbread cookies, I added a recipes page to this site for saving all my favorite recipes, so if you want to make the same gingerbread cookies as me you can see how to do thathere.
That's about it. Unless something really interesting happens for me to make a new years post, but probably not.
I can't remember if new year's resolutions are something you're meant to keep secret or not? Maybe I'm thinking of wishes?? Is that only for wishes? I usually don't make one but I'll make one this year and won't tell anyone just in case. And also just to keep a mystery. You'll wonder forever.
